Controversial combination I know,

But hear me out – Whenever I crave something truly comforting yet with a zesty kick, my go-to dish is Pan Fried Gnocchi with Spring Onions, Chilli Oil, and Sesame, featuring the incredible @rishrightuk Yo Po Chili.

This chilli oil has become a staple in my kitchen; its balance of heat and flavour adds a complexity to any simple dish, especially the humble gnocci.

The process of pan-frying the gnocchi to that perfect crunch, then finishing it with this amazing chilli oil, transforms a simple meal into an indulgent experience. Pan Fried Gnocchi, Spring Onions, Chili Oil & Sesame

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients/

500g gnocchi – shop bought or make your own!

olive oil for frying

large pinch of salt

2 tbsp Rishright Yo Po Chilli

3 spring onions, thinly sliced

1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Method/

Boil gnocchi as per instructions. Drain once ready.

Heat some olive oil in a large frying pan then add the drained gnocchi and salt and allow to pan fry for a few minutes.

Pour pan fried gnocchi into a serving dish then drizzle with some Rishright Yo Po Chilli, sprinkle with black sesame seeds and finish with some spring onions. And enjoy!
