#chinesefood Cantonese Stir-Fried Cheung Fun 啫啫腸粉 If you love that classic Hong Kong street-style “wok hei” flavour and silky-soft rice rolls, this dish is a total game changer! Savoury, garlicky, spicy and slightly smoky — it’s so comforting and takes less than 20 minutes to whip up 🍜🔥.

The secret? Pan-frying the cheung fun until crispy on the outside, then tossing it with caramelised onions, garlic, and a punchy chilli sauce from @rishrightuk. My kitchen smelled like a dai pai dong after this 😋

⏰ Cooking Time: ~15–20 mins
📝 Ingredients:
• 1 pack of fresh cheung fun (rice noodle rolls)
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 stalk choi sum, roughly chopped
• 2 tsp chilli sauce (I used @rishrightuk )
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce
• 2 tsp light soy sauce
• Optional: 1 tsp soybean sauce or ox sauce
• Oil for frying

👩🏻🍳 Cooking Steps:
1. Cut cheung fun into bite-size chunks.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, pan-fry the cheung fun on both sides until golden and slightly crispy. Set aside.
3. In the same pan, add more oil if needed. Sauté onion and garlic on medium heat until soft and caramelised.
4. Add choi sum and stir-fry briefly until just wilted.
5. Return the cheung fun to the pan, add all sauces and chilli sauce, and toss everything until evenly coated and heated through.
6. Serve immediately! You can top with spring onion or sesame seeds if you like 🌱
